Kraft cardboard and kraft paper

Kraft board and kraft paper for printing, crafting and creating

Kraft board

The unique two-layer design of our kraft board offers a consistent surface with an attractive look. Its natural brown appearance and good printability make our kraft board ideal for the production of boxes, folders, CD cases and other products.

Thanks to its excellent moisture resistance, the kraft board can be used for many demanding packaging applications and is also suitable for food packaging.

Our craft paper is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), SFI (Sustainable Forest Initiative) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) certified. You can obtain craft paper in the following thicknesses or paper weights (grammages):

  1. The thinnest has a paper thickness of 225 g/m². This craft cardboard is very flexible. It is suitable for homemade sleeves, envelopes and gift packaging.
  2. The next thinner one has a grammage of 244 g/m². It is pliable and flexible and can still be printed with most inkjet printers.
  3. The medium one has a grammage of 283 g/m². It is the standard cartonboard for almost all packaging solutions such as CD packaging, presentation folders or folding boxes. We use it, for example, for all brown CD packaging here in the shop. It is significantly stiffer than the 244-gram cartonboard.
  4. The thick one has a surface weight of 410 g/m². It is the sturdiest carton and is very rigid. It cannot be printed with a normal printer. Like the other two carton grammages, it is suitable for crafting and designing, for scrapbooking and for book covers.

The craft sheets are machine-smooth and have slightly different sides.

Postcards made of Kraft cardboard

Kraft cardboard and Kraft paper are particularly popular for wedding designs. Combined with red ribbons and white paper, they can be used to create gift packaging, invitations, place cards and decorations.
