Packaging ideas for Mother's Day with products from our store
A few combinations that work well with wrapping paper, boxes, SizzlePak and tags:
Box + SizzlePak + tag: for cosmetics, tea, small sets.
Wrapping paper + tag: for books, clothes, flat gifts.
Box calm on the inside, simple on the outside: focus on contents and message.
Paper plain, tag as focal point: good if the paper is to be understated.
Wrapping paper & gift box - an ideal pair
Wrapping paper: fast, flexible, in many styles
Wrapping paper is the uncomplicated solution when the shape and size of the gift vary. Quiet designs, natural tones or floral motifs are often in demand for Mother's Day. The look can be changed in just a few simple steps:
Clean edges: Fold before you glue. This makes the shape more stable.
Less adhesive tape visible: it's better to fix the inside at certain points than the outside with strips of adhesive tape.
Combine: plain paper plus a gift tag often looks more harmonious than too many patterns.
If you are wrapping several gifts (e.g. in a team, in the store or for customers), it is worthwhile having a small "wrapping line": cut the paper, then fold it, then close it and finally decorate it. This saves time and remains uniform.
Gift boxes: neat, stackable, easy to transport
Gift boxes are practical if the gift is delicate or if you want a clear, high-quality shape. They are also suitable for sets (e.g. cosmetics, tea, home-made items, vouchers plus a little something).
Advantages in use:
Quicker to assemble than elaborate paper packaging if there are a lot of pieces.
Protection for fragile contents.
Good shipping and transportation convenience, especially for B2B orders or collection.
Visually, you can keep boxes simple and accentuate them with filling material and tags. This keeps it controlled and doesn't look overloaded.
Clever & environmentally friendly packaging
SizzlePak, tissue paper & gift tags
SizzlePak & tissue paper: filling material as a real eye-catcher
SizzlePak is not just padding, but part of the overall look. It fills cavities, holds contents in place and has a decorative effect.
Tissue paper is not just for wrapping, but also a practical material for filling, padding and designing. It protects surfaces, prevents rattling in the box and creates a tidy, high-quality impression when opened. Typical inserts for sizzlePack and tissue paper:
In boxes as a base for smaller products.
For sets: "Embedding" products so that nothing slips.
For shipping: Protection plus presentation when opening.
Tip: First place a thin layer of SizzlePak or crumpled tissue paper on the base of the packaging, then place the gift and then fill in at the edges. This way you can still see the gift, but nothing wobbles.
Tip 2: Crumple the tissue paper loosely or fold it in layers instead of stuffing it tightly.
Gift tags: a personal touch without much effort
A tag is often the part that lasts the longest. The short message counts, especially on Mother's Day. You can use tags for:
Name and greeting (classic, but effective),
small thank-you lines instead of long texts,
Notes for homemade products (e.g. type, date, contents).
If you like it uniform: same tag shape, but vary the handwriting. This looks personal, but remains neat.
Wrapping gifts - simple, beautiful & creative
Wrap a small gift (e.g. jewelry, key ring, mini cosmetics)
Prepare a small gift box.
Place a thin layer of SizzlePak on the bottom.
Place the gift in the center.
Fill up the sides until the small gift no longer slides.
Close the box.
Label a gift tag with, for example, the name of the recipient and a short sentence ("Thank you for ...").
Attach the gift tag to the lid or the side.
That's it!
Note: Less SizzlePak often looks tidier. It should hold, not "overflow".
Wrap medium gift (e.g. book, candle, mug, care set without box)
Cut the wrapping paper so that there is an overhang of approx. 3-5 cm all around.
Place the gift in the middle of the back of the paper.
Fold over the long side first and secure the inside with a small piece of adhesive tape.
Shape the sides: Fold the edges neatly inwards, then fold into a triangle.
Seal the second long side.
Label a gift tag with, for example, the name of the recipient and a short sentence ("Thank you for ...").
Place the gift tag or name tag on the top and attach it directly to the paper (or slide it under a small paper flap).
Note: Fold before gluing. This makes the edges sharp and immediately looks "done".
Wrap a large gift (e.g. textiles, large album, several loose items)
Use a gift box first if the gift is fragile, "soft" or unwieldy.
Place SizzlePak on the bottom, then place the gift inside.
Fill all around until everything is stable.
Close the box.
Wrap the box additionally with wrapping paper (this makes it visually calmer and stable).
Place a gift tag on top of the "seam side" as the only decorative point.
Note: Box and paper are often the cleanest solution for large formats because nothing bulges out. Tissue paper or kraft paper can often be used to fill and secure the gift in the box.
Wrap gift set (e.g. tea + mug, cosmetics trio, "small thank you" mix)
Choose a box that leaves 1-2 cm of air at the sides.
Place a SizzlePak base inside (or tissue paper or wood wool).
Place the largest pieces first (e.g. cup) and align them.
Place smaller pieces next to or in front of it, not on top of each other.
Fill gaps with small "nests" of SizzlePak so that nothing wanders.
Test: Carefully tilt the box. If anything moves, re-pad.
Close the box.
Attach a gift tag with a short text.
Text idea: "For you" + short list ("Tea, some care, a thank you").
Note: Sets look tidier if all the items are "in a visual line" and not chaotically distributed.
