This Kuvert is closed with a string. To do this, the closure thread is placed crossed around the hollow rivets. This looks chic and makes the Kuvert or envelope something special:

Note on mailing
All envelopes with a string or Japanese closure are also suitable for mailing. Please note that for envelopes made of dark paper (e.g. red, black, blue, etc.) you may need to use a white shipping label so that the post office can automatically scan the recipient's address and read it without errors.
