The flat cotton wicks have been treated with solidified wax and are equipped with a small aluminum plate at the end.

With these wicks, you can easily pour candles: First, pour a small amount of candle mass at the bottom of the mold and place the plate with the wick in the center of the mold. Then the candle mass acts as a kind of adhesive and holds the wick in place. Now pour the hot candle mass into the mold, making sure the wick stands upright.
